School Partnerships
I partner with schools on an ongoing, sometimes long-term basis to offer my continued support and guidance. These partnerships are tailored to meet the evolving needs of the individual schools.
The decision to work with a consultant can be a difficult one if you are unsure how they will meet your unique needs. To help guide your decision, I welcome the opportunity to chat with you about your school’s goals and priorities. This dicovery call will determine whether or not I am the right person to help. Either way, I am happy to offer my honest ideas, suggestions and recommendations.
Thought Leadership
As an award-winning blogger and influencer, I believe in the power of amplifying our educator voices and advocating for powerful ideas. I welcome the opportunity to share my experiences and expertise with your audience in the following formats:
Speaking
I regularly present at in-person and virtual conferences on a range of thought-provoking topics. It’s always a joy to connect with fellow educators and learn from one another!
Writing
When I’m not working in schools, you’ll find me in a cafe typing away for my blog, email list or upcoming books. Writing was my first love in the world of thought leadership! If you’re looking for guest contributors for your publication, I can help!
Podcasts
Engage your listeners with an enlightening conversation about STEM, leadership and school innovation! I’d be honoured to join you for a podcast episode where I share my unique perspective and important insights.
For all of the above, reach out using the contact form below and I’ll get back to you promptly!
Training Workshops
I facilitate workshops on a range of topics relating to technology, STEM and student creativity. Below are just a few examples to give you a flavour of my work. I am happy to tailor training content to meet your needs.
micro:bit Jumpstart: a Crash Course in Coding and Creativity
Thanks to a recent campaign, every primary school in the UK had the opportunity to register for a free BBC micro:bit class set. The micro:bit is a powerful and versatile resource to elevate coding, physical computing and creativity. If you have them but you’re not sure what to do with them, this practical, hands-on workshop offers everything you need to know to get started!
iPad Bootcamp (with optional Apple Teacher certification)
This workshop is designed to help teachers and schools to leverage their iPads and realise the full, creative potential in these powerful devices. With my guidance, interested participants can then complete the online course to receive official Apple Teacher recognition.
Design Thinking: a Framework for Inquiry, Problem-solving and Innovation
Design Thinking is a powerful and authentic approach to inquiry learning that places great emphasis on empathy, creativity, agency and collaboration. When topics and units are taught through a Design Thinking framework, it adds tremendous value and depth to learning. In this engaging workshop, participants experience each phase of the process for themselves and prepare to apply Design Thinking to their own classrooms.
